CurrentI'm an owner and Business Development Director at Lugo, an IT support company based in Linlithgow, founded in 2003. I have decades of experience looking after the IT of accountancy firms across Scotland. Having studied Accountancy, worked in practice for 3 years and then as a Software Consultant for Sage for 12 years, I’m well placed to help accounting firms set goals, address the practicalities of change and in turn improve efficiency and realise their potential through the best use of IT.My job is very satisfying – it’s great when you know you’ve helped to develop peoples’ knowledge and they can see how this benefits the business as a whole.I am a Microsoft Certified professional with a deep passion for helping businesses leverage technology to their full advantage. My extensive experience in the accounting sector has given me a unique understanding of the challenges that firms face in today's digital landscape. I am a skilled communicator and relationship builder, and I'm adept at tailoring my approach to meet the specific needs of each client.Lugo are proud to partner with the Cyber and Fraud Centre Scotland to bring you expert practical and actionable guidance with a focus on tips and tools that firms can implement easily.I work from our office in the small Highland village of Nethy Bridge. I’m married with two boys and in my spare time I enjoy yoga, Pilates, golf and powerlifting among other sports. I love socialising with friends and family, while enjoying good food, whether I’m cooking or being wined and dined!
