About Liz Strzepa
I'm an Anchor/Reporter for WPTZ-TV, the Hearst Television NBC affiliate based out of South Burlington, VT. In January 2015, I started out at the station's White River Junction bureau, where I covered stories that impacted our viewers in both the Green Mountain State and the Granite State. Just six months later, I was promoted to the Plattsburgh newsroom as the station's sole New York reporter. After several years in New York, I now cover the greater Burlington area. I've been able to cover major stories that lead our newscasts and foster relationships with sources throughout Vermont. In January 2021, I was promoted to weekend evening anchor, a position that will allow me to gain invaluable experience on the anchor desk while still pursuing my love of reporting all over Vermont, New York and New Hampshire. In September 2023, I was named co-anchor of NBC5's 4 p.m. newscast and helped to launch the station's newest show alongside co-anchor Jack Thurston.
Listed skills include Broadcast Television, Interview Skills, Editing, Film Production, and 24 others.
