As a part of the Procurement Strategy & Enablement, I work to generate valuable insights and drive strategy to align with organizational objectives. Producing data-driven, high-quality reporting and analysis is a key component of my role. Organizational compliance is very important to me - as such, I also execute contracts on behalf of our Procurement Centralized Contracting Group.In this role I manage our Strategic Sourcing infrastructure and policy and our Supply Chain Financing programs.

As a procurement analyst at Altria, I manage the relationship between strategic suppliers and the company. On our Direct Materials team I negotiate terms and pricing, perform detailed analytics and forecasting and serve as a liaison between my suppliers and a wide variety of internal functions. I aim to optimize product and packaging materials from development to manufacturing.

I manage freight invoicing and unclaimed property vendors with responsibilities including contract negotiations and performance management. I administer the unclaimed property state reporting program across all states ensuring compliance with legislative guidelines.I streamlined and standardized 23 databases to improve efficiency and accuracy related to internal and regulatory reporting.Using my problem solving skills, I identified and resolved a technical error affecting over 1,000 payments.

As an analyst, I provide information and analysis that enables the Sales organization to make business decisions. I manage and track the budgeting for retail promotions and fixtures as well as providing monthly reporting to the decision makers. I also work very closely with vendors to ensure quality execution.

As a Corporate Accountant at a Fortune 500 Company, my duties are myriad. I prepare financial statements including OCE and cash flows for subsidiaries. I oversee postings to the general ledger. I manage intercompany activities and ledger postings. I do accounting for hourly and retiree employee benefit plans. I also work on special projects as needed.I have also served as the Accounting liaison in a project to replace legacy cash management systems. This project entailed analysis of existing processes and procedures, simplifying structures, managing a team, and reporting regularly to management.I also search for innovative ways to simplify processes and maximize my efficiency.

As an internal auditor, I work on a team to provide assurance services related to Altria's operating companies. The operational audits I have performed thus far are generally functional audits and the scope generally includes non-financial measures. By completing each audit with a focus on effectiveness, efficiency and compliance, I help Altria's continuing excellence in the field.
