Facilitated and maintained a Freshman Mentoring program through Building Assets, Reducing Risks by recruiting 15-20 mentors, tracking their progress with ninth grade students, and scheduling and overseeing meetings for two years.Planned and supported opportunities to foster socio-emotional development, leadership, and team-building for 120 ninth graders through an annual overnight field trip with the University of Maine’s 4-H Bryant Pond program; community-based job shadows; and portfolio reflection presentations. Supported 20 twelfth-graders in capstone courses to enrich academic opportunities.Sought out professional development conferences beyond the school district including the League of Innovative Schools, fall 2015 and 2016, and made recommendations for school-level improvements.Completed an intensive Master level teaching internship in the 2014-15 school year, designed an independent study course for eight students and conducted research presented at the University of New Hampshire’s 2015 Graduate Research Conference.
