Brood is a community of birth workers, Doulas, and care workers redefining the meaning of family support. We offer in-person doula services as well as online courses, aimed at providing care, knowledge and community for families of all shapes and sizes. We do this because thriving families create healthy communities.

Loaded Bow is an intergenerational community of women, femmes, and non-binary folks from around the world. Since our inception in 2010, we have focused on intimate in-person events and peer-led education to build an inclusive and resilient community. We are made up of artists, writers, scientists, healers, educators, activists, athletes, technologists, and futurists. Our time together is an exploration of ideas, culture, power, and connection. Concepts of narrative, pleasure, exchange, and lineage have grounded dialogue on risk, adventure, faith, and grief.

A Good Book Drive is an annual book drive to bring stories to a new generation of readers, and support kids in need of new books.Running through the month of November, A Good Book Drive asked Vancouverites to purchase a new copy of their favorite kids’ book and deliver it to set locations throughout the city to be donated to children in need.The first drive in November of 2012 raised over 1,000 books in 30 days for Vancouver literacy program The Writers’ Exchange.A Good Book Drive was featured on various media outlets across Vancouver including CTV, CityTV, Shaw, The West Ender, Vancouver is Awesome, Scout Magazine and more.

- Produce bimonthly sold-out storytelling events that provide a platform for diverse voices in Vancouver- As curator, liaise with members of various communities to secure storytellers and build audience- Oversee marketing and social media promotion, establishing a constant conversation with a large online following - Partnered with organizations across the city including Vancouver is Awesome, Olio Festival, Museum of Vancouver and the City of Vancouver- We have produced and released Rain City Chronicles the podcast (available on iTunes)- Rain City Chronicles has been featured in the Georgia Straight, The Province, The Dependent, Sad Mag, Vancouver Observer and on CBC Radio 1

Working with a local homeless drop-in centre ( Parkdale Activity and Recreation Centre ) conceived, developed and edited a community cookbook as a fundraiser for a new neighborhood foodbank. Planned a successful fundraiser and book launch to cover cost of printing while generating press and raising funds.
