CityStudio Vancouver is an innovation hub where City staff, students, faculty and community co-create experimental projects to make Vancouver more sustainable, liveable and joyful. CityStudio launched in 2011 as a collaboration between its founding partners, Simon Fraser University and City of Vancouver, as well as UBC, BCIT, Langara College, ECUAD and NEC.
CityStudio Vancouver is part of global shift in education that provides practical learning experiences to help students get jobs and change the world. Five other cities across Canada have launched their own CityStudio, as well as two in Australia.
