Behavior Analyst
Staff Development Specialist – responsible for new hire training and ongoing clinical support of all Direct Service Providers (DSP; 70+) across 3 Orange County clinics. New hire training topics include: typical childhood development, starting services with a client, navigating direct therapy sessions, Errorless Teaching and Error Correction procedures, initial programs, data collection procedures, and basic behavior management. Ongoing clinical support includes: direct supervision of DSPs and collaboration with clinicians on the development and monitoring of professional goals and conducting quarterly training meetings for all DSP staff. Training presentations (webinars) to include: Typical Development, Development of Play, Beginning and Advanced Data Collection, and Navigating Direct Therapy Sessions. Board Certified Behavior Analyst -- Case supervision, direct service, and parent education to client families, as well as internal (CLC) and external (as necessary and permitted) collaboration with Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational, and Physical Therapists. Additional responsibilities include: comprehensive assessment (FBA and Developmental Evaluations), manage client’s programming, maintain technically sound program write-ups and other clinical documentation, submit progress reports in accordance with the funding source, maintain regular and effective communication with client’s family and clinical care team, attend weekly Clinical Staff Meetings and all professional development meetings, and supervise, train, and mentor Direct Service Providers to ensure that our entire team delivers consistent and high quality clinical practice and customer service to all of our client families. I also provide BCBA Supervision of Independent Fieldwork in accordance with the standards set by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
