Project work including completing thematic analysis on a large consultation project

Operating within a fast-paced environment, I facilitated customer bookings and requests. I demonstrated a high level of problem solving to adapt to situations where a customer's first request cannot be met, using knowledge of alternative options. I utilised sales techniques to promote higher levels of products to the customer, as well as performing administrative tasks such as managing the reception, phone etiquette and booking management.

Motivated a team of up to six employees on shifts throughout the Christmas retail sales period. I assisted in leading our 2020 Christmas retail team to achieve record yearly sales with a growth of +8%. I consulted customers using effective questioning to align their needs with our products.

I work within the Support team at Mauri Ora (Student Health and Counselling). I manage patients appointment bookings, respond to requests via email and phone, liaise with doctors/counsellors and other stakeholders to ensure the patients receive prompt service and responses.

Internship project within the Learning Support Team, conducting a literature review into programmes offered for alternative education and intensive provision for primary-school aged students at risk of disengaging. I have conducted research into international offerings to compare to the New Zealand offerings, considering what options may be able to be adopted into New Zealand policy.

I worked with Fiona Hutton, Associate Professor in Criminology at Victoria University of Wellington's Institute of Criminology. I assisted in data collection for a research project into drug use in New Zealand, designing surveys for data collection and analysing data patterns by applying research method literature and theory.

I lived and worked alongside VUW staff and Hall residents in a first-year hall of residents. I was directly responsible for the wellbeing of 30 first year students, helping them to settle into the hall and university life.
