As Director of Business Development, worked closely with the ExecuScribe strategic team to drive new revenue and bring new and creative ideas to the table. This role demanded an entrepreneurial thinker with the ability to change hats abruptly in order to fulfill the company's needs in the areas of sales, company messaging, and marketing. With the healthcare documentation industry in a constant state of change, the ability to spot trends and keep up with government policy and mandates as they pertained to the healthcare industry was a vital part of this role. Building strong relationships and gaining the trust of healthcare management on multiple levels made this position a challenging, but satisfying, one.

Upon the sale of the company in 2008, was promoted to the position of Director of Operations for Archivus. Responsible for overseeing the operations and management of three business divisions including transcription outsourcing, records storage, and release of information. In addition to operations, wrote marketing materials, operated the company trade show booth, conducted employee relations/communications training, and was responsible for sales, customer and vendor relations. This position required strong communication and organizational skills, productive networking, and proficiency in conflict resolution.

Prepared presentations for Regional Marketing Manager and VP of the Charlotte office. Assisted advertising sales reps with communications, and helped facilitate the terms of our agreements between the ad agencies and television stations.

Responsible for communicating with local air time sales representatives and ad agencies to arrange for the timely delivery and scheduling of commercials.
