• Instructed students on networking basics, wireless networking, and security• Assisted students in the configuration of switches, basic Windows Server setup, and network analyzing

• Developed a plan for secure, campus-wide wireless internet and implemented it over the course of two years (over 200 total access points). This included both high-use areas, such as classrooms, and high-density areas, such as dorms. The initial plan was created using a combination of actual measurements taken from two applications, Wi-Spy and InSSIDer, and theoretical planning using the HP RF Planner. The implementation also included wireless controllers and access points from both Cisco and HP.• Built a RADIUS server using the NPS function of Windows Server 2008 to handle both WPA-2 authentication for the wireless network and AAA for the network infrastructure.• Assisted in the transition of network infrastructure from Cisco to HP, including switches, wireless controllers, and wireless access points.• Packaged and distributed software for both Windows and Mac computers
