Corner 103 was founded by Lloyd Davis as a result of his passion for wine and recognizing that most people are intimidated by it. Lloyd wanted to create an educational environment where his guest’s would feel comfortable learning all aspects of his wines in a friendly, non-intimidating way. The experience is seated and there are no more than 10 guests at any time. Guests will be exposed to seven wines from different American Viticulture Area’s (AVAs) located throughout Sonoma County. They will explore these AVA’s and learn why the varietals that Lloyd has chosen grow best in each. In addition, guests will learn how to taste wine, what glass it should be served in, the correct temperature in which it should be served, and how wine and food work together to bring out distinct flavor characteristics. Lloyd is committed to continuing his track record for producing award-winning wines and making Corner 103 a “must” visit for all wine lovers, whether expert or novice, coming to Sonoma Valley.

Developed and executed the company’s vision, mission and long-range strategic plans that transitioned a trouble company into a highly successful, recognized leader in Sonoma Valley. Improved Operating Profit during the worst economic environment since the great depression. Established a new marketing direction and strategy that strengthened the “Direct-to-Consumer” model, increased brand awareness, and further differentiated the winery from its competition.

Hired to establish, manage and grow an Underwriting, Portfolio Management, Restructuring/Workout, and Loan Operations Department for a $2 billion Hedge Fund that provided Senior Secured/Mezzanine Debt Financing (Convertible and Non-convertible, with warrants) to Middle Market Public and Private Companies. Member of the Management, Investment and Underwriting Committees. Managed the deployment of $1.7 billion. Senior member of the team responsible for launching three new funds. Developed and launched a private equity strategy.

Recruited to establish and build a Leveraged Cash Flow and Asset Based Lending Group in New York City. Primary focus was targeting Private Equity Groups and Financial Institutions. Developed and implemented a marketing strategy to provide senior debt financing, ranging from $10 to $75 million, and all other bank/investment banking services. Originated and closed 45 transactions, growing the New York City portfolio from $0 to $750 million in 5 years. Leading income producer every year and managed the best performing loan portfolio in the group.

Co-managed the establishment and build-up of the Investment Banking Group which provided a Leveraged Cash Flow and Asset Based loan product to clients of New York City Investment Banks. Developed and implemented the market strategy. Managed origination efforts, structured transactions and coordinated all phases of the underwriting process. Originated and obtained $900 million in senior debt commitments. Completed Six Sigma Training – Green Belt.

Responsible for underwriting and managing Leverage Cash Flow and Asset Based loans for middle market companies that were being acquired by Private Equity Groups or needed growth capital. Structured, underwrote, and closed over $500 million of Leveraged Cash Flow and Asset Based transactions. Managed three analysts in the administration of a $600 million Cash Flow and Asset Based Loan Portfolio. Received Heller’s Winner Circle Award for outstanding achievement.
