I plan and deliver weekly tutoring sessions to students currently undertaking maths, physics, chemistry and biology GCSEs. Each tutee is tutored between 1 and 2 years depending on when we begin our sessions, and as of the 2024 academic year, I have tutored 5 students.

I plan and deliver weekly A Level Physics and Maths tutoring sessions. The one-to-one lessons are focused on areas specific to each student, which allows me to aptly break down topics to provide a greater understanding. My personal experience of the A Levels has given me an excellent insight into the best revision and exam practice techniques, which I am able to adapt to each students style of learning.

As of May 2023, I have transitioned to the Structures Lead for the entire structural design of Project: Kestrel's Drone. The role involves managing the three teams designing and manufacturing the drone - the Nose, Fuselage and Empennage, Wing and Tail and Analysis Teams.Along with other team leads, I plan the project timeline for the 2023-24 academic year, ensuring optimal progress for the project as a whole. My role also includes planning and delivering a 4 week upskilling program to help our new members develop the technical skills necessary for them to smoothly integrate into the project, such as the use of Fusion 360 and AutoCAD for designing and manufacturing parts of the drone.

The NFE (Nose, Fuselage and Empennage) team is one of three structures teams designing the body of the drone. My team's role was to design, prototype and manufacture the main body of the drone, which included the landing gear, cargo hold and avionics housing.I lead the team of 4 others, planning the team's aims and objectives to deliver a final design and prototype to the Structure's Team Lead by the end of the year. I monitored and communicated the teams progress with the other team leaders and the project manager, sharing ideas to further the project.To efficiently communicate within the NFE team and with the project as a whole, I attended two weekly meetings, updated and added to our documentation on a shared google drive, and utilised the team messaging app Slack.

During the first two years of my Mechanical Engineering degree at the University of Sheffield, I was part of Project: Kestrel's VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing) Team. Our drone was designed to take part in the Lake Kivu Challenge, where our drone would safely deliver a 1kg emergency package to an island before returning to the mainland, a total trip of 40km.My team's role was to design the take-off and landing system, and due to the lockdowns in place at the time, the majority of the design process took place using Fusion 360, a computer aided design software. Where allowed, the team manufactured prototypes for the system in the iForge, the University of Sheffield's student lead maker space.
