Current• Manage care of patients requiring PCU level of care with advance heart failure, heart transplant evaluation requiring inotropic support and invasive hemodynamic monitoring, post-acute TAVR, post-acute myocardial infarction, unstable angina, moderate to high risk for cardiac dysrhythmias or respiratory decompensation requiring continuous noninvasive positive pressure ventilatory support • Knowledgeable and proficient in ECG interpretation, IV drip management, central line and pulmonary artery catheter care, insertion of ultrasound-guided peripheral IVs, CS-Link navigation• Demonstrate effective leadership serving as Core Charge Nurse by supervising nursing staff and acting as resource; coordinating daily administrative duties including unit staffing and nursing assignments; overseeing patient admissions, transfers, and discharges; ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations; responding to medical emergencies • Exhibit strong clinical competency in nursing practice serving as Nurse Preceptor by providing constructive feedback, setting learning goals, teaching hospital protocols/policies and unit specific competencies, encouraging critical thinking and autonomy, and ensuring safety for new graduate/new hire RNs• Engage in ongoing patient-family education while performing essential duties • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to further the progression of patient-centered care plans• Shared Leadership Council—Staff Experience and Professional Development Council Member • Swan-Ganz Committee Chairman• Hemodynamics Class Instructor in the Women's Guild Simulation Center• Flu Vaccine Ambassador • Safe Patient Handling and Mobility Super-User
