• I was responsible for the IT service delivery across 10 of the UK’s top tourists attractions, including Warwick Castle, Thorpe Park, Chessington World of Adventures and Legoland Windsor.Delivery included:
• Providing strong technical leadership & direction to local attraction IT teams
• Lead & manage an IT Team capable of delivering an excellent level of support to the business.
• Responsible for IT Team development, growth, training and recruitment in line with IT strategy.
• Delivering a strong IT presence across a variety of attractions
• Representing Merlin IT across multiple attractions, delivering first class IT services to all staff

Responsible for generating the site specific 5yr IT Roadmap detailing a hardware refresh program Driving down the volume of support calls by 20% for 2012 compared to 2011 across Warwick Castle estateDesignated as site PCI champion for Warwick CastleDefining, Delivering, supporting and documenting CCTV to external units and castle interior.Delivered.

• Fully responsible for the network and infrastructure security achieving full audited PCI Compliance in October 2010 via an external QSA assessor
• Fully accountable for network security, including alert analysis, intrusion detection and penetration testing ensuring all PCIDSS requirements were fulfilled.
• Designed, defined and documenting the IT security policy whilst ensuring all 3rd party suppliers complied with policy standards
• Instrumental in ensuring that systems and processes essential to the business are not only fit for use but also fit for purpose, with full support and documentation
• Driving real cost savings across the business by renegotiating key contracts, reducing the businesses reliance on consultants and reporting on key performance indicators across the IT Infrastructure.
