Duties include delivering a high commercial standard through company reports, learnt knowledge of our store specific customer base and maintaining the brand identity through sound visual propositioning and merchandising. Driving service through my team to ensure all customers experience the best possible visit in store, making them want to return again and again and become a loyal customer. Leading by example and giving detailed instant feedback to develop and coach the team. Implementing visual layouts and window updates to a high standard, following company set guidelines. Using my creativity to ensure the store is always visually exciting and on brand.Day to day placement of new lines and using my depth of current product knowledge to understand the newest trends and looks to move the floor on in a fast paced environment.I have a global view of the store, ensuring I am fully up to date with all aspects of the day to day running of men’s, women’s and children’s wear through structured daily walkthroughs. Ensuring costs, spends and stock loss are minimised and that deliveries are completed within productivity.Fully involved in all aspects of the coaching and development of the team. Looking at performance reviews and ensuring that PDPs are in place. Ensuring good communication with all managers and staff in the store and also being able to converse well with visitors from outside the store.I have been apart of refits during my time at River Island, ensuring that I broaden my knowledge of working within the field team and a greater understanding of meeting high demands. I most recently helped at the Rihanna for River Island launch event at the Park House store in London in September 2013.

Very similar role to the flagship womenswear product manager role, but specifically dedicated to the menswear floor. Enabled me to develop my strong vast knowledge of menswear and in a slower paced environment, meant that I was able to magnify my understanding of basic principles in order to achieve all aspects of visual implementation to the highest possible standard and depth.
