My PhD was a collaboration between the University of Cambridge and AstraZeneca. I primarily worked on the interaction of influenza attenuated vaccines with human lung cells using immunocytochemistry and immunohistochemistry in combination with several optical microscopy techniques (confocal, light-sheet, expansion microscopy). Using similar techniques, I also studied the infection cycle of several SARS-CoV-2 variants in mammalian cell models.Supervisors: Prof Clemens Kaminski (University of Cambridge), Dr Oliver Dibben (AstraZeneca)
