Had been responsible for maintenance of Transmission Network comprising of about 2500 Kms of OFC , Digital Microwave Systems & Satellite Systems in North East Region of India for three states i.e Nagaland, Manipur & Arunanchal Pradesh. In addition to the above some parts of Asam are also with me for transmission maintenance.In addition, new Microwave Routes have been planned for the areas where OFC laying & maintenance is extremely difficult.

Following were major achievements:i. Installation Co-ordination for AlcaTel-GSM Equipment (20 Lac Lines) & WLL (2 Lac Lines) in MP Circle in 08-09 ii. Complete Networks Planning including RF & Core Equipment for Rollout of GSM 20 Lac Lines & of WLL (2 Lac Lines) in Madhya Pradesh iii. Monitoring of Progress of provisioning of 6 Lac GSM & 2.5 Lac CDMA Connections in 08-09.iv. Continuous Monitoring of GSM & WLL Network for the minimum downtime & performance as per TRAI Normsv. Validation - New MSC BSC BTS of ZTE of WLL Equipment in India.vi. To co-ordinate maintenance of WLL equipment (CDMA-Cor-DECT). vii. Additional Charge of Transmission Planning, Transmission Installation & Material Management were also held for some time during this period.

I had been responsible for all activities related with ITU & APT from DOT.Responsible for signing new MOUs with other countries & implementation for the MOUS signed.Monitoring of the projects being underataken by CDOT.

Planning and execution of External Plant network Projects. Installation of Land Line Exchanges such as C-DoT Max, E-10B TAX & Rural exchange, Installation & Commissioning of UHF and OFC Systems. Computerization of FRS in SSA Nainital.Provisioning of Telephone Connection & to raise the demand of New Connections

Maintenance of Land Line Exchanges such as Strowger, Crossbar & E-10B exchange.commissioning of New external plant network by laying copper cable. 750 Route Km cable was laid for release of new connectionThe telecom district has doubled the capacity and scrapped old strownger exchange. The cable plan was prepared for expansion of about 50K lines capacity.The computerization of FRS, Directory Systems, cables record was completed.

I have worked for replacement of Two CO Manual Exchanges of Haldane by New CDOT Max Exchange of 4000 lines. In addition I was responsible for SAX RTX in Subdivision.The up gradation of External Plant was completed in one year.
