Daily duties included, as well serving as a quasi kennel master for eight bloodhound tracking dogs: delegation of assignments and responsibilities, time sheet creation, answering RFI’s (request for information), court procedures, creation of information packets for wanted fugitives, processing paperwork, attending staff meetings and maintain personnel records. SWAT missions primarily conducted were execution of high risk search warrants for narcotics, hostage situations, barricaded subjects and apprehension of high risk subjects. Additional missions were surveillance operations and assistance to the K-9 tracking teams. Upon request for assets, initiated a recall of appropriate personnel, issued special instructions to Team leaders, verified reconnaissance and intelligence obtained, created operations orders to include risk assessment and mitigation, conducted mission briefings and issuing of assignments. Assumed responsibility as on-site tactical commander and was responsible for the overall success of the mission.
