Online Content Specialist
CurrentI assumed the role of Online Content Specialist in 2019. I create and deliver high quality as well as engaging content on IKEA US digital channels in order to improve search engine relevance, strengthening the IKEA brand and increasing online visits/conversions. My duties involve reviewing content assets, identifying as well as addressing areas of improvements along with creating pages and publishing in digital channels. I also coordinate and facilitate the process of transitioning the stores to a centralized process for local content editing during the recent migration to a new responsive web platform. Lastly, I provide leadership, oversight, and training to the local stores in order to ensure optimization and alignment of content assets as per digital channels. Oversaw the content for each of the store’s local store pages on IKEA-US.com while delivering extensive support for 50 locations across the US. Established content briefing process to support the stores in providing localized content for local events, activities, and local sales promotions to attract new as well as existing customers to the stores. Ensure a rich multichannel experience on the local store pages to maximize customer engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
