Specializing in Long-Term Care, Skilled Nursing Services, and Short-Term RehabDirect patient care for the SNF. Assess/screen potential patients for admission. Supervise and direct nursing staff (Nurses and CNAs) and all staff in the building in the absence of the NHA. Work with the Medical Director and other doctors to help facilitate proper patient care. Assist nurses in assessing residents and relaying needed info to the MD for review. Conduct audits, make the nursing schedule, calculate daily PPD, set-up orientation for all new nursing staff, conduct biweekly in-services for all staff, review pharmacy billing monthly, conduct monthly psych meeting, and conduct monthly QA&A meetings. Recruit new nurse and CNAs from the surrounding communities to work for the corporation. Implement a QAPI program for problem areas. Ensure facility staff are following state and federal regulations.
