My experiences have been centered around the idea of being apart of a team. That comes from first, my experiences of being a teammate on the court and on the field, then a counselor and finally, a sales team member this past summer. Through these teams, I learned different ways of communicating with different team members and learning when to step up when leadership may be lacking. Sports teams taught me the value of hard work and persevering through adversity. Through my counselor job, I learned more in depth ideas of empathy and relating to people more on a deeper level. Finally, with my sales team member job, I was taught to enjoy everyday because everyday leads to something new. I know now that every stage of life is done with a team, and I will continue to learn more about others and myself through them. I enjoyed every moment I had with the teams I was apart of, and I look forward to whatever team I am apart of next.
