Logan Pierce, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Division of Hospital Medicine at UCSF. He is board-certified in both Internal Medicine and Clinical Informatics. He practices clinically as both a Hospitalist and a Proceduralist, and also works with multiple Informatics groups across UCSF to extract and analyze data from the Electronic Health Record to transform care delivery in the health system.Dr. Pierce currently leads a clinical data science within UCSF called Data Core. He is personally proficient with R, SQL, and Tableau, and he also has experience working on a wide variety of healthcare data-related projects including developing many high-visibility clinical dashboards, automated clinical alerting, and ChatGPT-augmented workflows.
