My deep-rooted passion for this industry started during childhood, and has significantly strengthened over time. As the son of a United States Marine and highly respected heavy-civil Superintendent in Oregon, I was quite literally raised with the determination, resilience, and adaptability necessary for this role. After starting my career as a general laborer in civil construction many years ago, as well as completing nearly 2 years of college education in Construction Management and Psychology, I have gained a wealth of knowledge throughout my career in this industry on many challenging and rewarding projects across Alaska, the Pacific Northwest, and the Midwest.With 16 years of experience in heavy-civil construction, including 9 years of experience in a construction management/supervisory role, I currently utilize my proficiency as a Superintendent with Pruhs Construction in Anchorage, Alaska. While integrating knowledge and experience learned from the field as well as the office, I take pride in my ability to overcome any challenge I have faced in this industry quickly and efficiently using collaborative and organizational skills to successfully complete projects ranging from $200,000 to $30,000,000. As a leader, I hold myself to the highest standard of integrity, and am fiercely dedicated to ensuring that my projects are operated safely and efficiently using strong communication and critical-thinking skills.Along with a sincere dedication to the development and the protection of the State of Alaska, I consistently strive to further my career through hard work and unparalleled ambition.
