I am currently a senior at Metro State University actively looking to expand my skill set in the world of cybersecurity! While attending Metro State I have acquired skills with various networking protocols and network analysis, and studied the essential concepts of offensive and defensive computer security. This fall, I'll be further developing my knowledge of computer ethics, and networking skills by studying for the CompTIA Network+ certification exam.Before attending Metro State, I attended Century College, where I gained skills in various computer languages, including Python, C++, and Java. I also gained skills with various web programming languages (both client and server side), including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP. While attending Metro State, I have gained experience with offensive cybersecurity tools such as Nmap, Metasploit, BurpSuite, Netcat, and more! Furthermore, I have gained experience with defensive cybersecurity operations and networking. Additionally, I have experience working with updating and maintaining databases in SQL as well.Outside of computer programming and security, I have a passion for writing which I have developed throughout high school and college. I've always loved putting my ideas on paper and developing different stories. This in turn helps sharpen my writing skills while boosting my creativity!Additionally, I am very meticulous about organization and attention to detail with anything I do. While I have not had the opportunity to work in a position related to computer science or cybersecurity, I would love to begin that journey with an organization that is as passionate about precision, organization and creativity as I am!
