Together with MAI, industry partners and universities, we developed and delivered training and certification programs designed to improve the skills, knowledge and attitude of engineering graduates, in order to address the diverse needs of the automotive industry. Programs attracted graduates from all over the country and involved a blend of lectures, workshops and internships. Personally developed the curriculum for a significant portion of the program and built an online component (using Canvas). Taught seven cohorts, over 200 students in total, and the program remains in place and highly viable today. Created a Job Forum which integrated working professionals into the classroom.Created online learning curriculum and systems, including a website, videos and online notes. Flipped the classroom as part of a strategy to help students who were struggling with the language better cope with the lectures and allow for class time to be used for interactive lessons. Was extremely successful, as evidenced by higher feedback and test scores.During this period, also organised and coordinated multiple community engagement events, among them the NorthEast Asian, Asian, AustralAsian and World Debating championships. Also served as curriculum director of the Asian Debate Institute, held at Chung Ang University since 2009. Finally, designed and managed multiple smaller student, community and alumni engagement events, such as a Jobs Forum.Students were mostly undergraduates, but also included postgraduate MBA students and part-time working professionals. Classes were of 20 to 60 students, on average 6 classes a semester.Consistently achieved excellent student feedback, among the highest in the entire faculty.
