Driven by curiosity and ambition, I am a passionate individual enthusiastic about bridging the generational gap in the digital world. I focus on connecting older communities with new tech, helping them understand, embrace, and enjoy technology, regardless of age. Currently, I am studying Computer Science at the University of Alberta, where I aim to earn an Honorary Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. Throughout my studies I am working to develop free online technology education to stay connected with the seniors I used to offer tech tutoring and support to, while being able to connect with those globally. In my time growing up on the West Coast, I have founded Nanoose Bay Computing, a tech-tutoring service dedicated to assisting those who are not confident with contemporary technology. Through this venture, I provide at-home tutoring, computer software and hardware repairs, and professional support. My dedication to my service allows me to learn and offer solutions to complex issues. Starting from helping my neighbors fix their computers, I now extend my services to the broader community and beyond. I take the time to explain my work thoroughly, ensuring that those I teach understand what I do and how they can engage with the ever-evolving technological world. As I push the bar with my studies, I strive to connect with like-minded individuals as I seek internship opportunities, and work to encourage all of those I know in the process.
