For as long as I can remember I have always had a passion for technology, whether that was using my parents old desktop on the weekends as a kid or constantly taking apart my electronics to see how they worked from the inside. This interest continued into high school where I was fortunate enough to be able to take a post secondary course during my Grade 11 year to see if the technology path was right for me.Taking the course opened my eyes and confirmed that a technology career was what I wanted. As I continued through my post secondary path, there were some hiccups and bumps along the way which allowed me to grow as a person, ultimately leading me to the Business Information Technology program at Red River College. From there I truly felt like I was where I was supposed to be. While in the BIT program I have been able to develop many skills involving programming & development, but also interpersonal skills as well. I learned that development involves collaboration, effort, and problem solving.I have experience with MVC, responsive design, organizing sprints & AGILE, as well as several languages, frameworks, and paradigms, including but not limited to: HTML/CSS/JS, React, Swift/UI, C#, Java, Tailwind, Bootstrap, and MaterialUI. I also have experience in AWS, pipelining, and working with predominantly with a MERN stack. I am currently experimenting with NextJS, TypeScript and GraphQL.In my downtime I will most likely be lifting heavy circles in the gym, talking anything and everything about sports or relaxing with my family.My messages are always open!
