I have built relationships with the executive directors and fundraising leads at these offices to accomplish fundraising success in each context.Through on-site visits and online meetings, together we are discovering the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead, and making plans to reach our full potential.Working for a national organization with many local expressions has required critical thinking on issues like online presence, centralized systems, even terminology. I coordinated the fundraising activities of the Durham field office, primarily cultivating relationships with individuals, churches and foundations. I implemented a tiered partner care plan which included calls, meetings, digital and print communications, and events. I oversaw the grants management program, submitting over 30 proposals resulting in $290k awarded funds. I was the staff liaison to the development team, grant writing consultants and other vendors.

As an ordained minister, I served individuals and families in distressing times though counseling, hospital visitations, and funeral services.
