Boreal Grid's mission is to enable the advancement of electrification, renewable energy, and grid modernization with a specific focus on the most remote and isolated communities in the world. These projects often involve technical, commercial, or cultural hurdles that complicate the execution process. We provide technical advisory services on the scoping, feasibility, design, and execution of energy storage and renewable energy projects and help to guide the development and execution of energy roadmaps.

By maintaining contact with projects from inception to completion, I help to guide the technical solution, educate our customers, and ensure a successful project. Duties in this role include leading project integration efforts for new solutions such as microgrids and DC coupled Solar+Storage, developing tools and processes for continued improvement within our group, sizing and scoping of new projects, and serving as the primary technical contact for customers

I managed a portfolio of large C&I and Utility scale projects by serving as the primary technical and commercial point of contact for our customers, AHJ's, and internal stakeholders. My duties include guiding the project from the point of contract execution, through system design, installation, and commissioning to a successful handover for commercial operation. Through this position I have navigated the complexities of regulatory compliance (including achieving field listing to UL9540), integrated with varied requirements from ISO's and utilities (CAISO, ERCOT, SCE, PGE, National Grid, etc.), and advised on the development of our product to meet the needs of the projects.

This position involved a high level of visibility to the customer, requiring effective communication skills and a high degree professionalism.
