These systems allow users to store electricity generated from solar panels and use it later, promoting a more sustainable and reliable energy supply.b. E-Mobility (Battery Packs): The repurposed battery cells power electric vehicles, such as motorcycles, bicycles, and other forms of e-mobility. By providing clean and reliable energy, these battery packs contribute to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and promoting eco-friendly transportation options.c. Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS): The project offers battery cells for BaaS models, where users can rent battery packs for various applications, including e-mobility and solar inverters. This model reduces the need for customers to invest in expensive batteries upfront and supports the broader adoption of clean energy solutions.

    To address the urgent issues of malnutrition in children and the growing economic inequality in Southern Nigeria, the TechWomen Nigeria Cohort of 2024 have launched a women-led farming initiative called Farm Boxx.This initiative aims to empower unemployed women to grow high-quality and nutritious foods such as vegetables, pepper, okra, tomatoes, cassava, and yams using easily accessible resources like sacks, plant pots, and seeds, right within their homes or compounds. This eliminates the need for large farmlands and the insecurity of farming on uncertain lands, while improving on the availability of quality and nutritious food.This is an award-winning social impact project incubated in the Silicon Valley (San Francisco) and backed by TechWomen, and the International Institute of Education in the United States.
