Angela Long is a breast cancer survivor who was diagnosed with breast cancer at the young age of 35. Her diagnosis was delayed and her life jeopardized as a result of inadequate breast self-exam techniques, limited knowledge regarding the signs and symptoms of breast cancer, and misconceptions about who gets breast cancer.Angela has spent the last seven years researching all aspects of breast cancer. Prevention, early detection, diagnosis and treatment are all topics in which she takes a keen interest. She has supported others as they have faced their own struggle with breast cancer, and she has been a tireless fundraiser for breast cancer research and has worked with local programs that provide services within the community.
