Initially a part of the IT Services Academic Computing consulting team, responsible for facilitating transition from Athena/AFS (Ubuntu/Debian and Andrew File System) and SunOS student computing environment to more inclusive personal computing options including MacOS and MSWindows computers. Academic Computing moved under the Dean of Students in the Office of Educational Innovation and Technology (OEIT, https://oeit.mit.edu/) to better support faculty course projects and collaborative efforts such the Stellar LMS, OpenCourseWare (OCW),and the iCampus Project. Led the iCampus Outreach Initiative, modeled after prior open source distribution projects at MIT such as xWindows and OCW.iCampus comprised 8 independent projects developed over a 7 year period.
