I am currently a member of PEACE. The purpose of PEACE is to provide a supportive environment for all people and work together toward social justice and applying psychology to a diverse world.

I serve as the graduate student liaison on the Inclusion and Equity committee in the Psychology department

I have taught a psychology statistics lab and intro to psychology.

I am currently an Experimental Psychology graduate student at East Tennessee State University. My duties as a graduate student consist of being a full-time teaching and research assistant. My research interest include looking at prenatal opioid exposure and how it affects cognitive development. Furthermore, I enjoy investigating the affects of physical activity/ exercise on cognitive development and academic acheivement.

Examined how attention and working men worry effect multi-tasking abilities

Attended weekly group therapy sessions with patients and job shadowed a psychologist in the psych ward.

Explored the behavioral effects of traumatic brain injury on mice.

Collaborative project with Meharry Medical School, Vanderbilt and Tennessee State University. The project was related to cancer prevention.
