I had a pleasure to lead Lumia consumer experience, SW and application development in several areas including sensors, location, NFC and mobile payment. I was product manager for SensorCore technology which enabled Microsoft and 3rd party apps to utilize always on sensor capabilities to implement cool and compelling apps.In practice this meant creating product vision for Lumia devices around sensors and location, providing leadership and program management for several teams including design, SW development, testing and HW) to work togeteher to deliver great products.

In this role I was running a small team that was responsible for Symbian devices standardization, IPR and open source SW strategy and execution. Team helped Series60 organization (over 3500 people R&D unit) to focus on right industry organizations, defined and helped organization to meet invention creation targets and helped Series60 management with related decision making.I also had a pleasure to manage and execute Nokia participation in Open Mobile Terminal Platform (OMTP). OMTP was a joint industry effort participated by all major industry players (HW vendors, all mobile device vendors, mobile megaoperators and SW companies) to define common operator requirements for mobile devices.
