Given the fact that the company is relatively new and expanding rapidly, I have been exposed to a very dynamic and fast-moving working environment. My experience as a Technical Services Engineer (TSE) here has been overwhelming and eye-opening as my learning curve is considerably steep in the positive manner. During my tenure in serving this company, I have been entrusted to provide technical consultation to Licensed Aircraft Engineer regarding aircraft structure and airframe related issues. Technically, I am responsible in evaluating damage on aircraft structures and to design or propose repair scheme based on Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) approved data. At cases where such repairs are beyond the limits of repair manuals, I am to liaise with OEM to propose structural repair instruction as well as obtain repair approvals. Having handled multiple structural related Aircraft On Ground (AOG) cases, I have managed to successfully propose repair design as well as obtaining repair approval such as FAA Form 8100-9 for Boeing aircraft. Joining this company also gives me the opportunity to know more about aviation and also further strengthen my belief in the significance of ensuring the safety of passenger and airworthiness of aircraft.

Joined as a member of the optical team for LCD TV design. In charge of updating and modifying 3D CAD data for optical parts in the main LCD TV CAD assembly using design software such as PTC Creo. Helped out in updating LCD TV optical parts 2D drawings using AutoCad. Perform standard optical test for LCD TV at design and pre-production stage, and document test reports. Brainstormed ideas for improving optical qualities of LCD TV.

Obtained substantial amount of Computer Aided Design (CAD) knowledge, specifically in CATIA. Helped out as well as initiate company projects using the knowledge gained during the internship.
