Hi!My name is Bryan Lopez, and I am a young coffee professional, a graduate with a degree in Astrophysics, and a dance instructor! My current path in life includes earning a data science certificate and switching careers towards an academic or technological field. My passion for data science started in college working the emerging field of Astrophysical Data Science, where technology, and the need for crunching data, is pushing the field into the future. I am a detail-oriented, organized team leader as is evident in my work with coffee by being in lead and managerial positions. I enjoy picking apart problems and understanding them to their fullest extent. I look forward to hearing from you! If you would like, you can read more about me below:I started coffee in 2014 with a two year break from 2016-17, returning in 2018. I work with Cafe Reveille roasters to fine tune espresso, pour over, and batch extraction. I care highly about the coffee I serve as well as how I serve it to customers. I believe in great customer service and aim to leave everyone satisfied with their experience. I am a graduate from UC Berkeley's class of 2018 from the department of Astronomy. I have a passion for data science. I have experience in math up to multivariate calculus, linear algebra, differential equations, and statistical inference; physics up to electrodynamics, quantum mechanics, cosmology, and planetary astrophysics; and computer science with an emphasis in data science using python, databases, and data visualization tools.I am an instructor at the 9:20 Special in San Francisco as well as the Breakaway in Oakland!
