• Serve as the general contact with employees, customers, and other visitors • Maintain organizational tracking charts of new hires, placements, referrals, FMLA • Review & analyze company census and term reports on a monthly basis• Conduct on-boarding for new-hires and rehires, update employment forms as needed• Maintain Form I-9’s and perform internal employment verification audits• Conduct HR research and handle policy inquires• Assists in implementation and maintaining human resources policy, procedures, and job descriptions• Conduct exit interviews, handle unemployment paperwork for hearings with the Workforce State Departments• Assists employees, supervisors and managers in various employee relations issues • Independently investigate sexual harassment and harassment issues, and determine best methods of execution with the HR Managers approval• Organizes and maintain the personnel file system, and file correspondence and other records• Search resumes for open positions, perform initial interviews, and provide follow up when position is closed• Perform pre-screening and phone interviews before setting up interviews with the department Manager• Type and present offer letters making sure the pay falls within the company and area compensation range• Process expense reports: invoices, ensuring proper coding and approval, and tracking for timely payment• Produce reports, power point presentations, and other documents as requested by HR /Safety manager· Produce monthly HR Metrics reports (headcount trends, census, term reports)
