I am a master teacher who has spent my career teaching basic math and pre-algebra to students in middle and high school and to college and university students. Quite often students struggle with math, but encouragement helps as we learn from our mistakes. I believe that practice makes progress - there's no such thing as perfection! - and there isn't a trick for mastery. Learning math takes work from both the teacher and the student, but the benefits of understanding mathematics are endless. For several years, I've been teaching math online and have enjoyed the flexibility and variety of resources the Internet provides.
