My name is Lorcan O’Brien and I have just finished my level 8 course in Marketing and Sales in ATU Galway (formerly GMIT). I thoroughly enjoyed my college experience and have developed my marketing and sales techniques significantly, along with additional modules such as HR Management, event planning, marketing analytics, marketing practice and global marketing and sales just to name a few, which have given me a great understanding of the world of business and has prepared me well for any task or role that I may undertake in the future.My leadership skills have improved immensely since I began working in the Sin Bin. Initially hired to work in the bar, I have been the bar manager for the majority of my spell here. This requires me to keep the bar fully stocked, manage parties and functions and also the day to day in the restaurant.
