Associate Engineer
CurrentAssociate Engineer – Consultant to City of Corona Land Development Division• Plan check utility, building, landscape, fire, erosion control, grading, and public improvement plans for permit approval• Plan check drainage studies and ensure hydrology and hydraulic calculations meet city and county requirements• Plan check water quality management plans (WQMP) and ensure compliance with Riverside County MS4 regulations• Conduct field investigations, when necessary, to confirm existing conditions or address design issues during construction• Coordinate with DWP to generate water, sewer, and reclaimed utilities comments and ensure environmental compliance• Coordinate between city departments, city inspectors, and developer’s project team throughout the review process• Assist applicants with calculations and designing to city standards, design policies, and applicable codes and ordinances • Generate fees/credits for water, sewer, public improvements, grading, DIF, TUMF, encroachments, etc.• Produce applicable documents such as Will Serve Letters and Bond and Fee Letters • Review bond and quantity estimates to develop appropriate agreements for projects• Utilize maps, lot-line adjustments, title reports, deeds, exhibits, to conduct required property research
