As a research and development scientist at Intermountain Precision Genomics, I applied my master's degree in molecular medicine from Drexel University and my variant analysis and NGS skills to discover and validate novel biomarkers and therapeutic targets for precision oncology. I collaborated with other scientists and clinicians to design and perform experiments, analyze data, and report results using various bioinformatics tools and databases. I contributed to the identification and characterization of genomic alterations in cancer samples, as well as the development of new assays and platforms. I am passionate about advancing the field of molecular medicine and improving the lives of patients. I also have diverse laboratory experiences in transfusion, hematology, chemistry, and microbiology, where I gained industrial experience and standard operating procedure (SOP) proficiency. I worked as a transfusion coordinator and a laboratory scientist at Intermountain Health, where I ensured quality assurance, compliance, and accuracy of testing and reporting. I can bring a multidisciplinary and collaborative perspective to the team, as well as a strong work ethic and problem-solving skills.
