Hello, I am Lorena, an artist from San Juan, Puerto Rico currently based in the historical city of Savannah, Georgia. The phrase "Live the journey" has become my little mantra for just about everything. The future, or focusing on the end goal causes us to miss the wonderful moments in life happening right now, and we forget that we learn and grow from the process and not the final goal or product. As I keep reminding myself to live the journey, I learn to enjoy the process; to leave the underdrawing visible, to draw expressive lines, to try out new lines, and to explore different media. It is precisely this aspect of art that I love and what I am striving for in my work.
