Implementing the company Emerging markets initiative GSO Global sourcing Organization, in Mexico aligned with other LA regions. Sourcing and marketing chemical products from Asia countries (China, India, Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, Japan, Sri Lanka, Indonesia and Malaysia) with outstanding performance, outpacing goals, and growing Brenntag’s businesses in 12 Business Units achieving purchasing budgets, increasing purchase volume and value by 92% and 130% respectively for both specialties and commodity products, navigating a dynamic environment and continuous internal changes.Developing and launching new products, in line to commercial team needs, providing and obtaining critical insight for specific business opportunities.

Lead the sourcing, vendor management and supply chain departments at Amco Internacional and leading and executing Amco’s aroma chemical and essential oils purchasing strategy. I managed 400 suppliers globally and 350 products, most of them considered high value raw materials for the Flavor & Fragrance Industry.Responsible for Brenntag’s F&F ingredients division’s sourcing, vendor management and supply chain. Managed RFQ´s, negotiation, product availability, order planning, consolidating and performing cost and market analysis leading the sourcing and supply chain team.

Responsible for Brenntag’s sourcing of Aroma Chemicals, Essential Oils and Food Ingredients with 350 SKU’s in line with the project to grow this unit in Brenntag the leading company of chemical distribution.

Responsible for the strategic purchasing of the company, growing a local team with a person from China to continue with our strategy of developing Chinese suppliers, understanding their culture, establishing long term relationships and boosting the project of buying constant qualities, from reliable suppliers.Continuous visits to Chinese suppliers to improve relationship and purchasing conditions.

Developed around 50 suppliers from Asia and other countries through a market research process, contact, sample request, evaluation and validation, becoming very competitive while meeting the required quality.Coordinated with Sales and Quality to develop market opportunities in Mexico validating strategic products from Asian suppliers.

Responsible of shipments imported from Asia, Europe, USA and South America, coordinating multimodal shipments and responsible for exports and imports of hazardous materials, for Aroma Chemicals, Essential Oils and Food Ingredients.
