Hi! My name is Lorena Castro, and I'm a Senior at Columbia College Chicago, majoring in Fashion and Dance. Growing up in a supportive Mexican household has deeply influenced my journey, providing me with a strong network that extends far beyond my immediate family.Fashion has been pivotal in shaping who I am today. Through my designs, I aim to empower others, fostering self-confidence and independence just as clothing has done for me. My goal is to work with innovative fashion brands and collaborate on projects that push the boundaries of design.Dance has been my lifelong passion and escape. Since the age of three, I've trained in various styles under some of Chicago's top instructors. My experience includes directing dance teams and teaching, which allows me to give back to my community and inspire the next generation of dancers.I am eager to connect with professionals in the fashion and dance industries for collaboration and career opportunities.
