As an instructional coach who has recently retired (January 2024) I have been supporting the professional development of teachers and the academic achievement of students for 20 years. With a master's degree in elementary education, I have a strong foundation in pedagogy, curriculum design, and assessment data analysis. I am proficient in using workspace tools such as Microsoft and Google in addition to educational software programs to increase student achievement, build teacher efficacy, and provide feedback to stakeholders. My core competencies include relational student-centered coaching, mentoring and collaboration with peers, and working in and alongside administration to achieve long-range goals. I am passionate about helping teachers and students discover new possibilities while working towards their goals. I believe education is the primary tool for social change and empowerment and strive to create an inclusive positive learning environment for everyone.
