For many years, I had the desire to go back to school and earn a degree in nursing. At the age of thirty-six, I felt I was too old to return to college, so I waited for a few more years, and began my educational journey when I was forty-nine. I've always heard, "there's no time like the present". It has been life altering and I must say that I certainly looked forward to graduation day. In the past four years, I have overcome countless obstacles and gained more knowledge than I knew possible. My main interest lies in the operating room, however, I am quite comfortable as an RN on the medical unit.
