I was an editor for a publishing company for almost 8 years. The company was publishing a trade journal for 8 years with no editor, and when I came on board the magazine a 72 page black and white newsprint oversized publication. When I left the magazine was a 200 page full color glossy publication.I was an English teacher for many years and I love words. I also love sharing this love of words. Classroom experience is a wonderful preparation for management...you must be able to judge a complex social situation instantly and respond appropriately in order to provide an atmosphere that encourages participation, learning and community.My interest in communications goes beyond just words, into the world of mind/body connection in the form of dance, Tango specifically. I work with many people that are interested in including passion and play in their daily lives and bringing those things to the management and communication fields specifically.I currently own and operate a dance studio/art gallery in Media, PA and host a large Tango event each month that includes hosting international teachers for workshops and performances.Specialties: Teaching, Communication, Creativity, Organization
