I have been the Director of Emergency Management in Cotton County since Sept 2019. I am also a Deputy Sheriff for Cotton County Sheriffs Office. I started working in Law Enforcement in 1989 as a Communications Officer for Cotton and Jefferson Counties, in 1997 I began my career as a Communications Officer for Oklahoma Highway Patrol, working across the state in Command Post Operations deploying across the state on disaster response. In 2008, I started additional duties, still attached to Command Post Operations as a Quick Response unit, responding on other types of critical incidents with OHP. I am a certified Tactical dispatching, OLETS, and hold many other certifications in relation to emergency dispatch and emergency management. I retired from OHP Communications in September 2019 and began my new career in Law Enforcement and Emergency Management. While I enjoyed being a Communications Officer, I have finally found two jobs i truly love, helping others.
