About Lori Lee

I have over 20 years of experience as an accountant, educator and financial systems analyst. I really enjoy being part of the professional teams, finding solutions and implementing improvements. My goals are to continue learning, and to work in an international business environment. I would like to gain more experience working with technology and multinational businesses, especially as it pertains to improving business processes, tax research and planning, financial reporting and designing database systems and queries.I graduated from University of Oregon with a BA degree in Chinese Language and Literature and an MBA degree with an emphasis in accounting. Soon after graduation, I moved to Wisconsin where I taught accounting at University of Wisconsin in River Falls for five years. Later, I moved to the West Coast and the Monterey Peninsula, where I worked public accounting and earned my California CPA license. I left public accounting and worked in industry so that I could gain experience working with larger companies, improve my technology skills, enhance my financial reporting skills and expand my multi-state and international tax experience.Altogether I have ten years of public accounting experience working with small business clients and nonprofit organizations, providing tax, accounting, financial reporting and audit services. I also have nine years of experience working in industry for well-known educational service providers, and I have five years of experience teaching at a four year university that offers degrees in business and accounting.
