Lori Manning serves as the Cross Timbers APEX Accelerator Director. Focused on helping small business receive government contracts, Team APEX has tripled its production in the seven months under her leadership. Formally, Lori Manning served as the State Director for Idaho APEX Accelerator where the program went from worst efficiency rating #96 of 96 to top 15 programs in the country. During COVID, Manning assisted in creating APTAC University, a trainer and onboarding system for All APEX counselors nationwide. This program launched December of 2021 and was completed Fall of 2022. She received two national awards for your contribution and organization of the project. Having served in several Executive leadership positions, Lori Manning draws on more than 25 years of experience in the education and business sector. She has served at primary and secondary learning institutions and coordinated events for the athletic departments of multiple universities. She also possesses certification as a science teacher for the fourth through eighth grade in Texas. Lori Manning resides in Hurst, Texas and has completed an MBA in business administration at Western Governors University.She began her career in education as a sports information director at Oklahoma Baptist University, where she received a dual BA in family psychology and BS in exercise and sports science. Manning also coached softball for several universities and helped her team to achieve the third-highest national batting average as head softball coach for North Greenville University. She left coaching in 2003 to join Pinnacle Academy of Fine Arts as a science teacher and received a promotion to principal after teaching there several years. In addition to teaching and administrative activities, Lori Manning has held leadership positions with two nonprofit organizations in the educational sector. As the director for FIAFW, she wrote grants, prepared charter applications, and engaged in educational consulting for charter school curriculums. More recently, Manning co-founded a nonprofit charter school called High Point Academy, which she grew from 409 students to 1,153 in three years. Manning has had the opportunity to assist, grow, and launch several organizations in multiple states. With extensive background in creating efficient models and effective processes, Lori Manning is a pioneer for making a difference in the lives of students, families and business owners.
